The lack of time has become a real problem for many of us. We do not have time to spend with our family or to devote to a hobby. We are always on the run, mainly if we work 8 hours a day. The secret, however, to remedy this situation, and I also discovered it a few months ago, is to find out how to spend the first 60-90 minutes in the morning. So I’ll tell you how to start a day in the best way.

How To Manage Your Own Time

Thinking that we can manage time is a real illusion. We can not handle something which is independent of us. In fact, the perception that we have of it is entirely subjective.

By taking part in a Public Speaking training, the other members and I had 5 minutes to introduce us or to tell a story. Come as someone was always advancing a few minutes while someone else continually struggled those 5 minutes, and one of those was me;). For me, time passed too quickly, perhaps because I like to speak in front of a public, but for those who were shy 5 minutes seemed like an eternity. This story repeated for three consecutive days:)

Despite having been the same for everyone, time was perceived differently by each of us, precisely because we were different each; this means that our ability to manage time depends on ourselves and not on external factors.

Time Enemies

In a course called “Wake Up Productive” = “Double Your Productivity,” I discovered that the best way to manage time is to learn to control yourself. I know that it seems sturdy as an expression, but in fact, it is not entirely wrong!busy

If you stop for a moment and observe your habits, you will discover that we unconsciously do the same things every day. Yes, a person who works 8 hours a day cannot do otherwise but there are still 16 hours left 🙂 And in this period the actions are repeated continuously.

The confusion that there is within us is the result of the thousand pieces of information that continuously grab our attention. The first habit of the 21st century is to stand in front of a screen. A woman then, who also has a family and children, is continually finding a request that solicits from the outside … ending up in this way to neglect her needs.

Everything that comes to us from the outside steals our energy. If the first thing you do in the morning is checking emails, you’ve already decided to please the requests of others.

We used to expect that someone else decides the way we spend our time; consequently, the years pass and we become increasingly dissatisfied because there is always that one dream that has remained unfulfilled due to lack of time. Do you agree?

Make Room For You Too

We cannot manage time, but we can control ourselves. Another factor that disturbs us are concerns, and consequently negative emotions.

Based on what I have studied and also based on my experience, I give you the following advice:

  • Write down all that worries you and work your mind

– solve what you can, and let go the rest

  • Identify negative thoughts about mistakes made

-Write down 5/10 reasons why you blame yourself and others and how you intend to eliminate the blame from now on.

  • Write down a list of the things you left incomplete and a dead line to complete them (ex: projects started, promises not kept, unread books, etc.)
  • Find out what disturbs you on a physical level (e.g., do not rest well at night), and find a solution (ex: changing a pillow)

Immediately put the 4 points above into action and let your days so light up! Act now!

What you do in the first 90 minutes, as soon as you wake up, affects the rest of your day.

If you wake up at the last moment in all the fury, take a coffee and run away to work, you get tired from the starting!

I will give you a few steps to start your day the winning way:

  • Plan your morning.
  • Devote the first 90 minutes entirely to yourself.
  • First, in the morning drink two glasses of water
  • Do half an hour of movement or take 20 minutes of total relaxation (where you do not think about anything)
  • Very critical is breakfast (it’s the main meal, make sure it’s healthy and nutritious)
  • Do never control your phone when you’ve just woke up 🙂 It’s not easy, but it’s the best way to start.
  • Make sure you do what means a healthy start.

If you follow this ritual intentionally for 30 days, it will become a healthy habit, and you will find yourself to face the days with greater determination!

Thinking of not having time is an illusion. We have plenty of it if we do not become slaves to our thoughts, which, if contrary, blocks us and steals our energy. Learn to dedicate to yourself in some way, honor the morning, and you’ll change the perception you have of yourself and the world.

Lack of movement is the first cause of depression, and not only. Moving helps to eliminate toxins, and is a benefit to our body, it keeps you fit, burns fat and increases metabolism.wellness

If you take care of yourself or relax in the morning, it will help you to face the day more positively and energetically. If you free your mind from thoughts, you’ll make room for new ideas, and you’ll become even more productive. But I recommend you: be kind to yourself. If you are not used to meditation, you’ll inevitably find various thoughts in mind, observe them without judging and let them go. Do not lose patience;) Be generous with yourself and give time to the process!
Do not skip breakfast. Many people do not have this meal because they are afraid of getting fat and they get the opposite effect. Making a healthy breakfast is essential. Try to avoid refined sugars because they are not useful to our health 🙂


Managing your time depends on yourself :). With these small steps, you will change your days and your reality.

This artitle is just great,from time management, to dealing with the mind and trying to figure out what should stay in the mind and what not , dealing with the health aspect of taking water after waking up in the early hours of the morning. I love this website. I have to get into the habit of when I get home at night, not to lay down on my bed with the light on because by the time I wake up it’s 4 or 5 in the morning. Then I wake and go to bed. Then I end up getting up at 10 or 11 in the morning where it is too late to get stuff done because work is right around the corner as far as time. Time has always been my enemy since I quit my day job (Target). I have to go to bed with the lights out at night after I get a few things done that needs to get done. Then wake up in the morning to finish. I have to get up at 6 or 7 in the morning order for me to get stuff done, so I can put a little that I have into the business.
